Why you’ll love it
- A calm evening ritual for all of December, away from the rush

- Short chapters, read in a few quiet minutes, even on busy nights

On the old Whiterope Line’s very last night, a train climbs from the valley into the snow, picking up travelers along the way: a baker, a fiddler, a beekeeper, a toymaker, all of them animals with a small secret. Each chapter takes a few minutes to read, then the page turns like a little advent door, and the passenger you just met slowly appears under your markers. If you’ve ever loved color by number, an advent calendar, or a good story by the fire, this is all three at once, one evening at a time.

FAQ
What should I color with?
Alcohol markers give the most vivid result on the black backgrounds (I use the Ohuhu Honolulu set), but colored pencils work beautifully too. The key uses simple color names, so any set with a close range will do.
Will markers bleed through the page?
Each coloring page is printed on one side only, so nothing on the back gets spoiled. With alcohol markers, slip a sheet of cardstock behind the page to keep the next one spotless.
Do I have to wait until December 1 to start?
The book is made to be opened on December 1, one chapter and one portrait each evening until Christmas Eve. But it’s your journey: if you can’t wait, nobody will check your ticket.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. You simply follow the numbers and letters, and the portrait appears on its own, no drawing skills needed.
Does it make a good gift?
It’s made for it: wrap it in November, and it gives your loved one a quiet moment every evening of December. Just order early so it arrives before the first night.
What comes with the book?
An online palette to view each page’s colors on your phone, and a surprise picture to print and color on Christmas Day.
